Enriching your musicality
At La Grange à Nadine, in Vertou (44)
with Line Tafomat
This training offers an in-depth study of the fundamentals of groove and vocal harmony, through an approach combining theory and practice.
Aimed at amateurs and professionals alike, it aims to strengthen musical fluency, listening and improvisation skills, gradually integrating rhythmic, harmonic and polyphonic concepts in a group setting. The training is divided into 3 inseparable modules.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Develop a solid rhythmic foundation through the body and voice.
- Understand and master the basics of vocal harmony and polyphony.
- Integrate polyrhythm and refine rhythmic placement in a group.
- Acquire autonomy in vocal improvisation, both solo and in a group.
- Compose spontaneously with the harmonic and rhythmic environment.
- Link theory and practice by directly experimenting with the musical concepts covered.
SKILLS ACHIVED
- Anchoring tempo and rhythmic subdivisions through body awareness.
- Singing simple and complex harmonies accurately and with ease.
- Navigating confidently through chord changes and polyphonic structures.
- Developing keen listening skills and the ability to adapt within a vocal group.
- Improvising solo, taking into account the harmonic and rhythmic environment.
- Understanding and applying essential theoretical concepts (intervals, melodic and harmonic movements, modes of the major scale, tensions and resolutions, subdivisions, syncopation, odd measures, polyrhythm) by systematically experimenting with them in concrete situations.
DATES :
- Module 1 - BODY & HARMONY: 3-6 April 2026 (Friday to Monday) - 4 days/ 24h
- Module 2 - POLYRHYTHM & POLYPHONY: 23-26 May 2026 (Saturday to Tuesday) - 4 days/ 24h

IMPORTANT

If necessary, we will help you to create a practice group near you.
